Case Design ยป

The Case Design Node allows you to add, delete and rename the optimization/simulation cases. For n-CSTR reactor, you may also define the number of reactors in each case. This node is organized similarly to the Experiments node, with the exception that the experiments are replaced by the cases.

Description of Case Design

This grid is used to add, delete and rename the Cases. A case is the simulation equivalent of an experiment. You may also document the design of the each case. For n-CSTR reactor, an additional Reactors column allows you to define up to 10 reactors in series for each case. The default is one reactor for each case.

{i} Design Variables

This is a documentation-only grid, and is only used to select the variables that are needed to document the design of the cases. To include a variable there, click on its corresponding check box. The variables selected here will be shown in Description of Case Design grid.
